SUP EVERYONE! Rosie here again for another special Tournament (don't you just love our crazy ideas? This tournament idea goes to Suzuka, who is a newish member to Divine Souls but still part of the family =^.^= ). Anyways! So this time, we're having what's known as the Reverse vs Deverse Tournament! This is going to depend mostly on how many people we get to join, so I'll just give an example.
Let's say twenty people join (I would love to have that many join, so tell all your friends to participate!).
Now, of that twenty, ten people will be known as Reverse and the other ten will be Deverse.
The Reverse people must have a Reverse Style Build or a Link Joker deck, while the Deverse can't use any Reverse cards or Link Joker at all.
Then the two sides will go head to head! Names will be picked out randomly by myself (as I am the great Overseer in this tourney =^.^= which means I'll be picking names out of hats ) and each Reverse will fight against their respective Deverse.
So now, lets say... Six Reverse win, and Four Deverse win. Those that loss, sorry, but you're out of the tournament for good. Thanks for playing!
Of those remaining Six Reverse and Four Deverse, names will be picked out randomly again, so two Reverse fighters won't fight in the second round, but they're still in the tournament. Think of it as a bye, while the others face off. So now... Three Reverse are left, and respectively, Three Deverse. Back to square one and repeat the process until one side is completely wiped out.
Next, let's say that in that last round, the Three Reverse beat the Three Deverse. So everyone else is out of the tournament, but those three Reverse, guess what! You're going up one by one in a secret boss battle! Bosses have already been determined. There's two, but only one will take part, depending on what side wins. In my example, the Reverse side won, so they face a Deverse Boss. If the Deverse won, they'd fight a Reverse boss. Get it?
Anyways, so those three remaining Reverse fighters will fight the Deverse boss in a randomized order. Should you lose, you'll be granted third place. Should you win against the boss, you get first place. If you don't fight at all, you get second. And that's it! Sorry if I lost some of you somewhere, but I promise it'll all make sense eventually. =^.^=
Now... The Rules... We hate them, but they're a necessary evil to keep things in order.
Sign-Up Deadline: To Be Announced (but you can start signing up whenever I get this thread up)
Match Style: Best of 1 (only one fight for each round)
Tournament Start Date: To Be Announced (dependent on sign-up deadline so...)
Registration Format:
Basically your name in CFA, what clan you'd use if you were on the Reverse side, what clan for the Deverse side, and Faction Preference is just what side you would LIKE to be on, but depending on how many sign up and who is where, you MIGHT end up on the other side (which is why we ask for both style decks)
