Fang here, here to make a special tourney to commemorate Winter- the season of gifts.
What could be a better gift than being a Pokemon trainer?
So inspired by the popular Pokemon series, I have designed a team tourney.
This will be a 48 hour team event.
As this tournament progresses I will be updating team statuses on this thread.
These will be the starting times WORLDWIDE!

Team Battle Rules-
1. Each team must have 4 members registered; 1 Trainer (Leader) and 3 Pokemon.
2. Each Pokemon player may choose only 1 Pokemon throughout the tournament.
3. No Pokemon may battle another Pokemon from another team without their Trainers.
4. Once a Pokemon player has lost in the tournament, He/She will be considered fainted. A fainted Pokemon can no longer battle for their team throughout the tourney. Each team will start with only ONE REVIVE and must message me if they would like to use it. A Revive may only be used to revive only ONE Pokemon.
5. Any official tourney battles can be messaged to me through this website for validation (optional). Results must be messaged to me, so i can update team statuses though.
6. Once all of a Team's Pokemon are unable to battle, the team will be disqualified.
7. Trainers will decide who they will battle against and decide how many Pokemon their team will each use.
8. Any act of cheating or lack of sportsmanship will result in the disqualification and instant fainting of the Pokemon player. Replays must be messaged to me for review.
9. All usual Cardfighting rules will be applied as well as current Banlist limitations.
After the tournament starts, your team will decide when you will play against who if they agree during the tournament.
Pokemon Player Rules-
1. Each Pokemon Player must be an actual VERIFIED Pokemon by the official Pokemon company (AKA no Diance, Volcanion, or Hoopa) and that Pokemon's original typing (You can only be normal type if you're Arceus, but if you choose to be a Wormadam, you must say which form you are.) determines the clans that player may use in their fights in the tournament. The folowing spoiler lists which types correspond to which clan(s).
Bug-Megacolony
Dark-Dark Irreagulars/Shadow Paladin
Dragon-Nubatama/ Murakumo
Electric-Narukami
Fairy-Angel Feather
Fighting-Nova Grappler/ Spike Brothers
Fire-Kagero
Flying-Gold Paladin
Ghost-Granblue
Grass-Neo Nectar
Ground-Great Nature
Ice-Bermuda Triangle
Normal-Royal Paladin
Poison-Pale Moon/ Link Joker
Psychic-Oracle Think Tank/ Genesis
Rock-Tachikaze
Steel-Dimensional Police
Water-Aqua Force
2. No type advantages will be applied.
3. A Pokemon may use any of the clans that correspond to their type.
4. A Pokemon player may use a dual clan deck if their original typing allows them to use at least two different clans.
5. If your opponent Pokemon is "prey" to your species, then you may not eat them. If you do eat them however, you must undigest them quickly or you will be automatically fainted and your stomach will be pumped.
6. NO MEGAEVOLVING ALLOWED.
7. You must use your team's tag in the tournament.
Trainer Rules-
1. You are responsible for your Pokemon and you cannot fight directly unless it is against the other trainer.
2. If you directly fight the other trainer and lose, your entire team is disqualified.
3. You may only have a Pokemon battle if your opponent agrees to one.
4. No actions upon another trainer that could be considered....."too mature for a young audience" allowed.....unless there was an agreed bet and no children are around. So if children are around, no gambling for alcohol.
5. Any Pokemon Player that battles, you must declare that Pokemon's "Official" Name before hand followed by their in game-name.
Ex: "I choose my Rhyhorn, (Insert name here)!"
6. Trainers will decide how the matches will be fought between their Pokemon, such as best of 3 rounds or a single fight.
Cardfighting Rules-
1. All usual legal rules of Cardfight Vanguard!!! will be applied.
2. All battles between Pokemon will be 2 out of 3.
3. If a player leaves the fight unfinished without warning or contact with another member of their team about their disconnection, the opposing team may choose to send me the replay and result the battle in their victory.
The tournament will end exactly 48 hours after beginning.
Team Sign Up Example:
Team (Name)
Trainer- (Name)
(Pokemon 1 Name)- (Player Name)
(Pokemon 2 Name)- (Player Name)
(Pokemon 3 Name)- (Player Name)
Sign up will end 1 hour before your timezone's starting time.
